اهمیت مطالعۀ طبیعت بر کسی پوشیده نیست؛ زیرا طبیعت بستر اصلی زندگی انسان است. از این رو، علوم طبیعی که با جهان طبیعت سروکار دارند نقش فزاینده‌ای در بهبود و تغییر چهرۀ زندگی انسان دارند. اما برخی تلقیهای نادرست در علوم طبیعی جدید لزوم بازاندیشی در نگرشهای علوم طبیعی را با استفاده از آموزههای الهی نشان میدهد. در این زمینه، قرآن به مثابۀ منبعی الهی آموزههای مهمی در جهان‌شناسی طبیعی دارد. این کتاب الهی ضمن معرفی مهمترین ویژگیهای کلیت جهان هستی، یعنی ماسوی الله، برخی از خصوصیات مهم جهان طبیعت را برمیشمارد که مخلوقیت، نیازمندی، وابستگی تام در بقا، نظم و علیت، تفاوت و تنوع موجودات، وجود شعور و ادراک، زنده بودن و تسبیحگویی همۀ موجودات طبیعت، کارکرد خاص موجودات طبیعی و تحت سیطرۀ الهی بودن کل طبیعت فقط نمونههایی از آنهاست. آموزههای طبیعتشناسی قرآن، ضمن رازگشایی از چهرۀ برخی از ابعاد طبیعت، از مهمترین طرق خداشناسی و شکلگیری جهانبینی الهی است که تأمینکنندۀ سعادت حقیقی انسانهاست.

The scientific movement of Islamization of Knowledge, which has been started since two centuries ago, has some serious supporters in some Islamic and Arabic nations. Ismail Raji Al Faruqi and his adherents are those of Muslim thinkers that have paid more attention to this subject and theorized for its actualization and did some practical steps. They have theoretically emphasized on some actions such as: rereading of Islamic scientific heritage, recognition the causes of contemporary Muslims declining, establishing of Islamic methodology which inspired by the Quran, producing of Islamic English literature and reforming of contemporary educational system of Islamic nations, and practically have taken actions in establishing of some Islamic institutes and universities. They, totally, have succeeded to introduce the literature of Islamization of Knowledge in the Muslim World. Their sectarian and maybe Salafism tendencies, however, and unreal methodological expectations of the Quran for taking their theories, have caused to some failures. In this paper, by reviewing of viewpoints of Al Faruqi and his adherents in Islamization of knowledge, it is tries to analysis the positive and negative aspects of their theoretical and practical achievements, in order to use their experiences in Islamization of Knowledge in the contemporary age.

The way of relations between science and religion was of important questions which has received different answers in past centuries. In this paper, it is tried to argue that albeit of great developments of science and its extensive role in human’s life, humankind needing to religion was of his/ her fundamental requirements, and this is religion that can answer human’s fundamental questions, then there is no rational justification for view pints about limitations of religion. Of course there are similarities between science and religion that can make possible their more cooperation which some of them are in experience, explanation, objectivity, models and paradigms of religion and science. Meantime, each religion and science has their special function. In this aspect, we can show some roles of religion in science including its role in taking presuppositions of science, and forming theories and laws of science. Scientific developments, also, can help human to better understand and explain religious beliefs.
